ذكرنا سابقا اجزاء الكلام وتعرفنا عليها بشكل مبسط ويمكنكم الاطلاع عليه من هنا في هذا الدرس سنقوم بتوضيح الاسماء بالتفصيل

Nouns

A noun is word refers to a thing, animal, person, and place.

Types of nouns

1- Common nouns

A common noun is a the name given in common to every person, place, or thing of the same class or kind.

هو اسم يعطى بشكل عام على أي شخص أي مكان أو شيء لا يحدد شيء بعينه

Ex

lady, country, book, school.

هنا لم نحدد أي إمرأة أو أي دولة فهي عامة للكل

2- Proper nouns

A proper nouns is the name of some particular thing, person, or place.

هو اسم يعطى لشيء معين يميزه عن غيره ليس عام للكل

Ex

Egypt, Laila, November, Arabic.

وهنا نلاحظ شيء مهم للغاية أن تلك الأسماء تبدأ بحرف كبير لأنها تميزها عن غيرها فأسماء الأشخاص واللغات والطرق والديانات والدول والمناطق الجغرافية وأيام الاسبوع وأسماء الشهور كل ذلك نبدأ الكلمة بحرف كبير ماعدا أسماء المواسم

 All of these started with capital letters.

3- Collective nouns

A collective noun is the name-word for a group or collection of persons, animals, or things.

هو اسم يطلق على مجموعة من الأشخاص أو الحيوانات أو الأشياء اسم جماعي

Ex

A flock of sheep, an army, a brunch of grapes, a class of pupils.

4- Abstract nouns 

An abstract noun is the name of a quality, state, or action.

هو اسم مجرد يطلق على صفة خاصة أو حالة أو حدث

Ex

Humility, poverty, movement

5- Material nouns

A material noun is the name of the matter or substance of which things are made.

هو اسم يطلق على المادة التي يُصنع منها الأشياء

Ex

Marble, wood, steel, brick
