What is the difference between Tall & Long. ما الفرق بينهم
كلاهما صفات ونفس المعنى وهو طويل لكن يوجد فرق مهم بينهما سنتعرف عليه الآن
Tall
تصف كل الأشياء التي لها طول عمودي مثل الأشخاص والمباني والأشجار وما إلى ذلك
Examples:
Laila is taller than Mariam.
Cairo tower is the tallest tower in Egypt.
The tree is 15 feet tall.
Long
تصف كل الأشياء التي لها طول أفقي وليس عمودي مثل طول الشارع أو طول قطعة أرض وهكذا والمسافة وأيضا المدة الزمنية
Examples:
The distance between home and university is not very long.
It took us a long time to finish the project.
The road to Alexandria is not long from here.
